SANY’s Utica Academy of Science is excited to announce the opening of an Elementary School in the 2018-2019 Academic Year; starting with grades K-1! SANY's academic year starts in August.

As a result, we are looking for a Dean of School who is eager to guide and support our teachers and uphold the mission of our district. You will be responsible for overseeing instruction, curriculum, assessment and professional development.

What you need

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 years teaching and working in classrooms and coaching teachers, preferably in urban schools and/or communities
• Experience with a diverse population of students or in an urban setting a plus
• Experience as a Dean, Principal or equivalent leadership role highly preferred
