Utica Academy of Science Charter School has an opening for a dynamic and nurturing ESOL (English as a Second Language) instructor.  Must have New York State certification and fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department.

**ESOL/SPED dual certification a plus**

Content of lessons varies depending on the reason why the students are learning English.  The aim of each lesson is to encourage the students to communicate with each other using the structures and vocabulary they've learned, and to improve the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
